One pound on the scale, 5000W at the burner, and a 70cm gas pipe between the two. The long hose is the real feature: the canister sits well away from the heat, and the stove can run on firewood as well as gas, which is unusual at this weight.
The lengthened 70cm gas pipe keeps the canister at a distance from the burner, which the brand frames as a safety measure. It also means the stove sits where cooking is convenient rather than where the canister happens to stand.
The same stove can be used with a gas tank or with firewood, which turns a dead canister from a ruined dinner into a change of fuel. Two adapters cover three different cylinder types alongside the EN 417 standard.
The burner weighs 470g, a pound in total, and travels in a compact EVA box that protects the arms and jet. That combination is what makes it credible as backpacking gear rather than car camping kit.
A serrated tray grips pots and pans of different shapes, adapting to the curve of a backpacking pot so nothing tips. The flame knob sets output from a simmer upward, with 5000W boiling a litre in about two and a half minutes.
