A 24-inch disc of 900D woven nylon over a sponge-padded frame, hung on rope straps with a turnbuckle. The diameter is the detail that matters: it is wide enough for an adult to sit in, so the swing does not become useless the year a child outgrows a toddler seat. Children sit, read and nap on it.

Twenty-four inches of seat

The round platform measures 24 inches across, described by the brand as large enough for children and adults. That width turns a single-rider swing into a place two neighbourhood children can share, which is how most backyard swings actually get used.

Woven nylon over sponge and steel

Construction runs thick 900D woven nylon, soft sponge and commercial-grade steel. The padded frame is what makes the rim comfortable to lean against, and the widened hook-and-loop strapping plus thickened braided rope carry the load at the mounting points.

Hangs almost anywhere outside or in

Rope straps and a turnbuckle fit a tree limb, a swing set, a pergola, a jungle gym, playground framing or a treehouse, and the same hardware works indoors. Nothing is drilled into the mounting point, so a rental backyard stays as it was.

An alternative to the tire swing

The brand positions this as a replacement for the old tire swing, and the flat mesh seat explains why: it holds a reader or a sleeper as readily as a swinger. It makes a straightforward birthday or holiday gift for a child who needs a reason to leave the screen indoors.
