The blue colorway of the full training harness: learn-to-turn leash built in, a handle on top for loading and unloading a child on the chairlift, and a small backpack that swallows the leashes between runs along with a phone, keys and a card. Stowing the leashes also keeps loose straps from catching on the lift mechanism. Shoulder, waist and leash lengths all adjust and the harness goes on and off quickly. Beyond skiing and snowboarding the manufacturer lists in-line and ice skating practice.

Blue, with everything attached

This is the blue finish of the harness that includes both the lift handle and the backpack, rather than the leash-only version. For a parent teaching on a lift-served slope, those two parts are what get used most.

Handle for the chairlift

The handle lets a parent load and unload a child at the lift and keep a secure hold during the ride, covering the part of the day where a beginner has the least control over skis they are still learning to use.

Backpack that keeps straps clear

The easy access backpack stores the leashes quickly and carries slope valuables including a phone, a key and a card. Stowed leashes cannot be caught by the chairlift, which is a safety point as much as tidiness.

Quick to fit

The shoulder and waist strap and the leash both adjust in length, and the manufacturer notes it goes on and off easily and adjusts quickly for a close fit, which matters with cold hands at the base of a slope.
